New Website and New Look Social Media
As part of Limerick Community Grocery's re-branding we are excited to launch our new website shortly. The website will have a new name and new look as well as new ways to keep up to date with all your community co-op news.
Over the summer the website was developed by our Web and Multimedia Design student co-op placement, Ailís Ní Chofaigh. Ailís has given the website a completely new design complimenting the branding and logo work from Elaine Hennessy at littlebluestudio.
The great new branding will also feature throughout our social media pages on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. We are very excited about the new brand and look and hope you will be too!
The website will launch within the next week so be sure to keep an eye on our social media pages for news of the launch!
This week will see the launch of not only our new website but our new brand and name too. Limerick Community Grocery will become The Urban Co-Op with a new look across all our digital platforms. We are very excited about this next part of our community co-op's development and look forward to what's in store for our depot over the coming months!
Here's a sneak peak of our new brand -
Co-Operative Coffee Break
Bringing you a quick co-operative-fix while you sip your break away!
Last week we took a look at the Spanish manufacturing co-op Mondragon and this week our co-op spotlight is on food co-ops and StrongerTogether.coop in the U.S. StrongerTogether.coop represents 143 retail food co-ops in the United States. The website is a great resource for co-ops and consumers and is filled with lots of useful information on food co-ops. You can also find some great recipes for a variety of different dietary requirements and preferences. They've lots of great articles on the history, values and principles of co-ops on their 'co-op difference' page here.
