Swap, Gift, Donate
Sunday 3rd November 12noon 3.30pm “ We are thrilled to share the success of the first "Swap, Gift, Donate" event which was hosted at the Urban Co-op on Sunday, 14th July! It was a fantastic day filled with community spirit, sustainability, and generosity. A steady stream of attendees came together to donate, swap, and gift items such as clothing, kids' toys, and small household goods. The groups goal was to promote eco-friendliness and reduce the impact of fast fashion while fostering a sense of community. We're proud to announce that any items not swapped or taken home on the day were donated to three wonderful charities: St Vincent de Paul - Westbury, NCBI, and Limerick Animal Welfare. *Mark Your Calendars!* We’re excited to announce the next event will also be hosted at the Urban Co-op and is scheduled for Sunday, 3rd November from 12 PM to 3 PM. We invite you to join us again at the Urban Co-op for another day of swapping, gifting, and donating. Bring your friends and family, and let’s continue to make a positive impact together! Let’s keep the momentum going and follow the groups Instagram for further updates: swapgiftdonate! |
